Wow.  I thought for sure that I updated more recently than the wedding... oops.  I guess it's about time to tell everyone what I'm up to more recently (always changing... ).  Although I probably don't have any friends left on here anymore... but I guess I'll update just to see that one comment from my one or two true friends.
I am currently traveling with an evangelist and family on their singing/tour group.  I play piano for the group and sing soprano.  I have just been in 14 different states in the last 2 days, and I am currently in Kansas City, Missouri, and I will be till the end of next week.
Life is crazy right now, but I am enjoying it.  God is teaching me so much, and I love meeting other christians from all over.  I could travel like this for the rest of my life!  I can't believe how much God is pulling me out of my shell.  I'm actually singing solo's now--- in front of  hundreds of people!  YIKES!  It might not sound like much, but that takes a lot of courage for me!

I'm still planning on finishing cosmetology next fall.  500 hours down, 1000 left to go...  I can't wait!  JoAnna is still going on without me. so she'll be a pro first.  It's good for her-- She needs to do SOMEthing better than me

My Spring Break is in two weeks.  I'm counting down the days.  I'm going to have a million and one parties!

I'm going to be the mail-of-honor in a best friend's wedding.  Somehow I think I missed something...  oh well, there's only so much fun you can have when you're tied down to a family...I guess...

I have to go practice now... so... till next year!  HA!

Did you ever think you'd be giving a manicure to a uniformed, army officer?  Neither did I!  But I did, and I got a twenty dollar tip!!!  Yup!  Thursday was a better day.  God is so good!

Wow!  It's been a long time since I've been on here!   again...

I'm in school right now, sitting in class doing nothing...  I have this crazy teacher that does nothing cosmetology related, and makes us sit here all day doing nothing... It kills me that this is what I have to do to get my cosmetology license.  It takes me all day to do one haircut ( that I can do in 20 minutes) when I can be at home doing stuff that really needs to be done right now.  It has really been a wake up call for me: coming from homeschooling all my life, then a small christian college, now a secular college.  I guess I didn't really think that people (girls my age and younger) can be this wicked.  Lord Jesus please come soon!

Our church is having a revival this week.  Bro Brian Sams is an awesome preacher.  I was shocked Sunday when he asked me to travel with his family this next year, so I guess I won't be here much longer!  I'm so excited!  This is something I've always wanted to do.  Just pray for my sister if you will.  She'll probably finnish college and get her cosmetology license without me.

Other than that I haven't been up to much.  I know I told ya'll that I'd put up pictures of the bridesmaid dresses I did in April... I'll get around to that soon.  I've finishes another wedding last month, and I'll probably have another one soon.

I was a councilor again at Camp Good News this summer, but I know I won't go back again next year.  I am so tired of wicked, worldly christians!  It really kills me!  God's been doing a lot of work in my life lately.  I get all kinds of questions at college, that makes me really search out my Bible and 'Be ready always to give an answer...'  There's this crazy goth girl here with purple and pink and black hair who said she reads her Bible just so that she can argue with Christians.  I'm definitely not picking a fight with her, (I don't believe it's right to argue doctrine when what she really needs is Jesus) but I want to be a good testimony and be ready for the day when she picks a fight with me.  I decided this semester that I'm going to start reading my Bible as if it were a book.  I read books all the time that are hundreds of pages long and it will take me anywhere from a couple weeks to a month to read.  Why then does it take me a whole year to read through my Bible?

Anyways, the crazy teacher finally said it's time for lunch, so I guess I'll talk to ya'll later.  I'll try to put up pictures of what I've been learning later.

It's late....I'm bored...can't sleep...If I even LOOK at my sewing machine again, or that wedding fabric...

I'm flipping through my people on xanga, and once again I'm impressed by Nette and all her pictures.  So... now that I got my camera and laptop back-- here's a bunch of random pictures from last semester:

school & random 152 this is the Thompson's house--- where I lived.  That garage was made into a room, and me and 7 other girls shared that room!

school & random 094 There's a swing at the back of the house, and I would sit there and talk on the phone or take pictures.

school & random 149 That would be JoAnna out on the gazebo on the phone.

school & random 171 This is Faith and her baby David.  Her and her husband live at the Thompsons, and are kinda the 'doorm parents'

school & random 118 We love car rides!  This is me, Kyrie, Jo, and Michelle.  All decked out in our sunglasses, probably on our way to the sonic down the street.

school & random 153 This IS sonic!!!  Ha-ha!  We love slushes. (Me Jo, and Shelly)

Jessica's pictures 085 JoAnna and me in Mexico.  Jo's first time!

Jessica's pictures 113 Mexico.  One of the favorites I took

Jessica's pictures 111 The big slide!

DSC01794 ....and proof that we rode it.

Kat---Mexico 079 from the roof of the house we stayed at, looking down at Jemina playing basketball.

Kat---Mexico 081 Me and JoAnna: the only girls brave enough to go on the roof!

Kat---Mexico 056 playing in the street....  We went witnessing down this street, inviting people to the meetings.  None of us could speak Spanish!  Ha-ha!  We just held up our flyer, pointed, and smiled...

Kat---Mexico 012 pretty good for out the van window on the way home, huh?

Kat---Mexico 076 Me and Shelly.  She's getting married in April.  I'm sewing her bridesmaid dresses, and I'm in the wedding.

GSA and missions conference 060 Me and JoAnna bored in school

GSA and missions conference 051 We loved our english teacher.  there would be days when she would come in and take us all to Starbucks instead of doing her class!  This is the only 'whole school' picture we got

GSA and missions conference 052 in Thomas's truck:  Kyrie, Liz, Martha, Michelle, Alesha

GSA and missions conference 001 We did wig day at school.

school & random 211 um...yeah... we were cleaning. Really.  Getting ready for the bike rodeo

school & random 386 At the bike rodeo.  You thought Texas only has horses?!  We prefer bikes.  Jo, Elisabeth, me, Jimena, Kyrie

school & random 227 Jo and Shelly with the tallest man in the world.... or Stephen on stilts...

school & random 284 I love this one!

GSA and missions conference 180 We took a trip to Fiesta Texas ( I think that's where it was...) for a missons conference, and the conference provided us with a trip to six flags.  They only had 10 rides open, and this was one of the only good ones

GSA and missions conference 208 We saw this guy do bicycle tricks too.  I definately wouldn't want to be one of those guys on the bottom.  Actually, they're standing on top of a school bus!

Okay... that's all for now.  I should probably go to bed, so I can get up early tomorrow and....sew...  now that I found out xanga has made it incredibly easy to download pictures. I might be doing this more often.  Oh!  If JoAnna ever gets on my nerves, remind me that I have about a million blackmail pictures on her, k?
